live in a foreign country

I found a great language curse where I could learn three languages in three different countries, everything in nine months! I’ve asked for details and I loved it… now I need money!!!!

The Miami’s manager I mentioned on my last entry offered me the job, recommended me someone to find a place to live and other things, and then she just disappeared! Seems like the job isn’t needed anymore but I would appreciate a “no thank you, maybe next time” instead of nothing!

Anyway, I’ve decided where I’m moving, I’m going to California and live in the same area as my family or in a city around. A couple of weeks ago a person I love hurt me really bad, and what hurt more is that she knew what she was doing and how much it will affect me, and she did it anyway. The next days after I found out what was going on, my family and best friends supported me and were really nice with me, so why do I want to be far away from all there loving people?? I still want to move because I truly feel I’m not in the right place, but I want to be around the people I love and they love me. I know people will hurt me in the future too, but that’s why these people is here, to support me and I want to support them every time they need it too. I am thankful for all the people who love me (thank God) and I want to be around them.

Everything happens for a reason. I want to let the people I love know all the time how much I love them.

I decided to move sooner, and the new date is NOW!! I’ve been feeling trapped for the past weeks. I go out with friends, with my family, find interesting things to do, but I feel that my life is in a spot with nowhere to go and a need a deep change.

I want to move to the US because I want to start from 0 and in another country. I’m not really apart from the American culture; my mom is American and my father Mexican, I’ve lived in Mexico all of my life, but use to spend summers and other festivities with my grandparents in California. My family in California offered me a place to stay if I decide to move with them, I really appreciate this, but I really, really want to start alone, can’t explain why, I just want to.

Another problem… I have no idea where city I want to move to. I went to Chicago last year on vacation and I loved it!! but I haven’t found an interesting job there. Thought of Boston and applied for a really cool job, but they haven’t contacted me!  I never thought about Miami, but when a manager I work for here in Mexico (she’s is from Miami) knew that I wanted to move to the US, she offered me a job, it sounded so so good, and she told me she will contact me again to check details on when I was moving and all that stuff, but she haven’t contacted me!! And this was several weeks ago!!

I just need to find a path and stick to it… seems like I’ll have to wait.

I am planning to move to the US next year, I finally decided!!
still have to choose to what city I’m moving, it depends on my current job and the university I’m attending, but I’m happy that I’m taking action on this issue.
