build an earthship

I bought all their books a few years ago and also the video of Dennis Weaver’s home (it must be the largest one). Very impressive to heat a mansion for $50.00.

I have loved earthships for many years. Two years ago I stayed in the first cottage Michael Reynolds built in the town of Taos. It felt really good and was warm even in the chill of night. Then I got to go to his intentional community across the gorge. He has a great educational center there and of course his web site is full of information. I like the way the water is recycled and lots of plants inside the home.

I want to build one in New Mexico when I find land. I am looking now.
