own a puppy

I’ve had a lot more advice from people who know about dogs… it seems I may have a few more choices as far as breeds suitable for allergy sufferers go.
Apparently a dog’s behaviour is far more due to training than breeding. So some of the breeds concidered allergy friendly but that seemed too highly strung or skittish for the hectic life it would lead in London could be back on the list again.

However, Golden or Labradoodles are still amazingly gorgeous. Want want want. Spanish water dogs are my next breed to investigate along with schnauzers…

We’re also planning a visit to ‘discover dogs’ this autumn to find out more about all things puppy related :)

More emailing – she’s replied already!
I’m impossibly excited even though it would be January at the VERY earliest I could have my lovely pup.

HaroldChasen did some research for me (after I subjected him to hours of cuteness torture via web puppy pictures) and came up with the name of a breeder who had been fabulously helpfull in answering my questions earlier in the year!

I’m taking this as a sign and I’ve emailed her to ask more questions and arrange a meeting with the parents!

I want this kind of puppy in particular.
I’m going to take him with me almost everywhere most especially on my morning runs. I may call him Jack (but in German) and I’ll feed him on bad men!

I want a puppy.
