adopt a dog

I absolutely love schnauzers. They’re my favorite breed of dogs. The other day I drove down my street and passed a neighbor out with her two shnauzer puppies!! I was so jealous, Ive been wanting so bad to play with some schnauzers!! I wish I could get my boyfriend to eventhink about adopting a schnauzer…

My boyfriend and I have talked about adopting a dog, and we have found some characteristics we would like. My boyfriend doesn’t want a small dog, which makes me a little sad because my family has had great success with miniature schnauzers and dauchsunds. We’ve done our research and we’ve both agreed we’d like to get a miniature Siberian Husky. Its not too big for me, and its not too small, plus they’re beautiful and loyal and our yard is perfect for a husky.
The only down side is that apparantly Huskies and Malamutes are the fourth most dangerous dogs, in cases when dogs attack humans, only behind Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and German Shepherds. I don’t know if this will change our decision to adopt a Husky, but I do know that we wont adopt unless we can invest the time and energy to take care of our new addition so that he/she wont turn on us.
