clean more often

Still struggling with this big time. We just don’t stay on top of it. Right now our house is pretty much clean—the front room, kitchen and bathroom are all very clean and not cluttered. Now to just KEEP it this way!

I’ve been working a lot more around the house lately. Overall, the house has been much tidier. It helps that on Adam’s day off he actually did something this week instead of screwing around.

We’ve been doing much better at this—especially since we got a vacuum! Now we can walk around our house barefoot. What a novelty!

I really kicked ass this weekend and spent a few hours in the bedroom on Saturday. The end result? A totally clean bedroom. I even rotated the mattress, changed the sheets and made the bed. I also put some pictures in frames and put them around our room. It’s so peaceful to walk into a CLEAN ROOM at night!!! Makes all the difference for sleeping.

Last night after EATING DINNER AT HOME, Adam and I WENT FOR A WALK WITH THE DOGS and then I DID THE DISHES—I also cleaned up around the kitchen and went to bed with a clean sink, clean countertops, and clean stove. I even did some bill organizing last night!

Last night while making dinner (another goal!) I cleaned up the kitchen. I was able to throw away and put away quite a few things. We were actually able to EAT at the kitchen table!! What a concept.

I signed up for FlyLady, but I never really got into it. I hate saying it but I just FEEL as though I don’t have enough time to clean. Considering I’m hardly ever home, how does my house even get so dirty?? It’s frustrating. I want to budget my time and whatnot to where I have a clean home and plenty of time to play with Ruger and Arai.

My biggest goal is to get my bedroom organized and clean.
