Today I was out of bed by 6:10. Considering I was sleeping in till ridiculous times of 6:30-40 last week, that’s not bad. My goal is 5:30, but HA! Yeah right.

Wow. I’m failing miserably at this goal!! I have gotten up ridiculously late EVERY SINGLE day this week! I need to work harder on this goal. I can’t shake this exhaustion though. I’m not tired when I go to sleep but when I wake up I just can’t do it.
Now that I’m working later, I’m getting up more “on time”... except now I forget to give myself time to take a lunch. I can never win.
Day 1 and already a failure: I should be getting up at 6 to leave the house by 7 and not have to rush to work to get there by 8. Instead I snoozed until 6:50, rushed through a shower, asked B to take the dogs out, hopped in my car at 7:20, and managed to make it to work by 8:09. It doesn’t matter if I’m late to work, but I hate being late because I like to leave ON TIME! It would even be nice to get here a tad early, say 7:50. Never going to happen at this rate… My routine is that I set my alarm for an hour earlier than I need to get up—snooze is my best friend. It’s like sleeping in, as someone once put it. I JUST WANT TO GET UP IN THE MORNINGS!
My goal is to wake up on time one week at a time. I’ll try to start doing it this week, but I really aim to wake up on time Monday-Friday NEXT week. :) I currently leave myself only enough time to get up, shower, get dressed and hop in my car. I would ideally like to get up early enough to maybe watch some morning news, eat breakfast and take the dogs for a walk. This is a VERY difficult goal for me.
