I’ve taken to wearing an elastic hair bobble on my wrist and snapping it when I stress. It works, believe it or not. Now I just stress about the pain of having my wrist snapped! I started using it to swear less but think it works better for stressing.

Well I have found that my insurance WILL cover 50% of a bite guard/night gyard to help reduce my headaches and jaw pain! Wooohoo. I am calling the dentist next week!!!!!
I am still stressing. Yesterday my jaw and neck ached from my clenching. I was tense and my head just throbbed. I did have my husband massgae my neck, and it feels better this morning but already I have caught myself twice tensing up my jaw.

I am going to have to weigh what is really important and what can take a “backseat”—stress is on the top of that list. So in order to allow my body to recover from this cancer, I am giving up stress and all the negativity associated with it.
From the laundry, to the bills. From walking out my front door (afraid of running into someone I know) to stressing about my health. Tired of the tension and the headaches—need to find a release.
I combined some goals that were related and this seemed to be a match : I need to find a release so I stop clenching my jaw. And usually it is too late when I realize that I have been clenching my jaw. A night guard has helped with the grinding of my teeth, but I need to find one way to STOP gritting my teetch and clenching my jaw. Its frustrating.
