I am grateful today for:
1. Being able to tell my parents how very much I love them.
2. That I didn’t have to wake to my alarm clock and could catch up on much needed rest.
3. Its a beautiful, sun shiney bright day so I can garden.

I am grateful for so many things today—-
The first of which is that my 8yo son is OK after being mauled by a neighbors dog yesterday. Only 4 stitches, and thankfully it was only on his lef and not his face or hands.
Next I am grateful that I was able to clean out my youngest daughters room and donate 8 bags to the battered womans shelter.
I am grateful I am not a battered woman after reading a flyer while waiting for them to unload my car.
I am grateful the weather has been beautiful and we finally got some much needed rain.
I am grateful to have such caring neighbors.
I am grateful for the love and support of my family—so grateful.
Eventually we will find (mostly in retrospect, of course) that we can be very grateful to those people who have made life most difficult for us.

My 6yo being able to read to me now, so that even when I am busy we can still spend time together.
That it’s a sunshiney day, and that the kids and I can go to the park.
That there was still coffee left for me this morning.
and lastly I am grateful for the telephone, so I can still speak everyday with my 12yo daughter whos spending the summer with her grandparents 1000 miles away.
So here I am again, not any less grateful though. I am thankful for….
Being able to stay home and a be a mom to my children.
Having a roof over my head and food—-over looked things but I am grateful non the less.
Thankful for having a family who lives 1000 miles away but can still pick up the phone and feel like I am right in the same room each and every time I speak with them.
Grateful my children know the beauty of having grandparents.
Today I am grateful because:
1. I spent a relaxed day at home with no errands to run.
2. Watched abeautiful movie called The Blue Butterfly with my children and it moved us all.
3. I am grateful that with my husband gone until tomorrow I am able to snuggle and sleep with my kids one more night.
4. I am grateful that I am able to tell my family I love them, and not feel weird about it.
I am grateful for….
Being able to spend a beautiful, sunny fun-filled day with two of my children.
For meeting a new friend.
Having a long laugh with my son about something silly.
Being able to share a relaxed dinner with my children.
Being able to have an intelligent and interesting conversion with my 12yo daughter.
All together, it was a wonderful day.
