move up to $2-5 no-limit poker

In the last year I took a few shots at $2-5 when I was running good in $1-2 and $1-3. None of those shots turned out particularly well. (The highlight, not really that bad a beat or that awful by $2-5 standards, was losing a $1000 pot with QQ all-in versus AQ of clubs on a 234 one-club flop. Just 200 blinds, quite mild really, but winning that one hand would have helped me in bankroll and confidence to keep taking on $2-5.)

Anyway, at this point I barely can afford to keep playing $4/8 limit, so this goal is going to sink to the bottom for now.

Like many cardrooms they start at $1-2, which is ridiculously easy. I need to build up bankroll so i can play $2-5, but the few times I’ve tried for a couple of hours at Foxwoods and the Borgata i ran bad and ended up down a couple of (short) buyins.

I know i can beat the $2-5, but i need the bankroll.
