NaNoWriMo

I am falling in love with Dragon Naturally Speaking 10. I am able to speak out 1000 word chunks in under an hour. I have trained the software very well, and my biggest hurdle isn’t the software misinterpretting what I say, but my ability to keep the story going forward. This morning I did another 1500 words and I had to break out my idea list to keep going. I will continue tonight to try and both make up the gap and make it over the half way mark!

I need a catch up day but I have been so busy lately. I know that I can catch up, but it makes the face fret when you look at the chart that shows the “pace” graph and you are so far below it. Baby steps forward! Baby steps forward!

I was unsure if I would be able to do this, but looking at the progress I am impressed that I am doing well. I have hit above the daily goals and made sure that I padded my word counts in case I have an off day. The story is coming along well and I can see that I can stretch the tale out to 50000 words. Yay!
