With all the amazing food around me this season, people keep asking, “Why did you decide to start a diet NOW?” I guess people hold off til after the holidays to try and lose weight…hence New Year’s Resolutions. My answer to that question is two-fold. For one thing, I reached my limit. It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, I need to lose weight. Secondly, I am going to Hawaii in two weeks. I want to have lost 15 lb by then (I started this diet about a week and a half ago, and I’ve lost 7 lb. so far).

Keep it up everyone, and remember the saying, “Nothing tastes as good as thin feels”!!

So far I’ve lost about 14 and a half lbs on Slim4Life. BUT…...I went to Grandma’s last week. Never good for a diet. So I probably gained a couple back. I’m doing well now that I’m home again.

I’ve been on Slim4Life for a week now and I just weighed myself…I’ve lost 9 and a half lbs! I’m really excited and surprised! They make you eat so much…I didn’t think I’d lose so much in such a short amount of time.

I finally feel like I'll lose the weight... 19 months ago

I’m joining Slim 4 Life today. It seems perfect for me and everyone I know who has done it has lost a ton of weight in a short amount of time. It’s really expensive but I’m sure it’ll be worth it. I’m also working out tonight with my friends. We decided to run every other night and go to the gym on the other nights.



Day 3 of dieting and exercising... 19 months ago

I decided my diet would be that I would cut everything in half. If I make a sandwich, for example, I would make the whole thing and then cut it in half and put the rest in the fridge til the next day. It’s been working…I get to eat whatever I want and I feel full by the time I’m done. I’ve lost 2 lbs so far and I’ve been working out every night (I ran both nights, worked out everything in the gym the first night, and did 100 sit-ups both days). I feel good about it!



Day 1 19 months ago

I was just on vacation and I promised myself when I got back I would go on a diet and exercise and get in shape and all that fun stuff. So I started today and I’m going to work out tonight. I think making entries on here and keeping a diet journal will help me stay focused. I can’t get off track…so here I go! Keep it up everyone!
