So-so

Unfortunately, it seems I’ve inherited my mother’s lack of interest in cooking. Which sucks, because I was really hoping this would be something I’d have fun doing, maybe even another niche. But I just don’t see the thrill in cooking; it’s too meticulous, too time-consuming, and I’m too..impatient?
I’m still going to give it another shot though, since I need to know how to make food on my own eventually. Maybe if I keep doing it I’ll start enjoying myself.

Cooking

When I was little, you could often find me in front of the stove helping my grandma cook. I loved baking brownies, stirring pots, using the egg beater, all of that. Somewhere along the line I lost interest. Now that I’m rapidly approaching adulthood, I think it’s time for me to start learning how to cook again. That would definitely help me with my goal of being more self-sufficient. Eating is my past time, so I’m excited to learn how to prepare my own food! I’m unsure of where to start, though. Do I get some cookbooks for kids and start small? It’s been so long.
