I’m a low-fi, lo-talent guitar player, one-finger keyboardist, singer, and songwriter who’d love to find more people in the Bay Area who might enjoy some lo-pressure jamming, home recording, collaborative songwriting, and maybe eventually gigging.
I have ideas, a little bit of style, a lot of enthusiasm, and some basic skills, but staying motivated has been kind of hard. I’m not so interested in serious inquiries, so if you’re trying to get famous, tour, or get rich, I’m not the guy for you.
I like a lot of stuff. Indie. Pop. 70s Punk. Experimental noise and silliness. Some of my 6500 favorite bands include Bettie Serveert, Cat Power, The Fall, Frank Black/Pixies, Robyn Hitchock, Grandaddy, The Only Ones, Smog, Swell Maps, Guided by Voices, and VU. Chances are you like some of those, too. If you’re also relatively patient and modest in your ambitions, we might be a good match.
Non-musical interests include coffee, beer, travel, going to shows, art, film (esp. foreign, cult, indie, and cartoons), and lots more.
