Despite Slip Ups... 10 months ago

I’m still determined to get back in shape and eat healthy. I’ve been doing better on the eating despite a couple of slips. The good news is, I’m back down to 220—so progress, yeah! The bad news, I haven’t really been exercising, just a day or two. So my plan is to step it up this week! Every day this week 1st thing as soon as I get up, no excuses. I’ll log in daily to keep track of my progress and form a habit.



Starting Over... Almost 10 months ago

So in 2005, I lost 55 pounds going from peak 245 to 190 and I held steady at that til sept 2008 (I went on a cruise and for a week ate like tomorrow would never come and haven’t stopped since…well i did yesterday)
Anyway, I forced myself to step on the scale yesterday and I was almost at 230 again. No surprise, none of my clothes fit. So with that reality check I am back to eating right and doing what helped me lose and maintain in the first place, eating mostly raw fruits and veggies, eating whole grains, etc. and this time I want to incorporate more exercise (at least 30 mins a day).
I started yesterday and I’ll report my progress. I don’t really count cals, I just eat healthy. I dont want it to feel like a diet, but a way of life. I replace all white products with brown and whole grain and gluten free if possible. and I replace my sugar with fruit, ripe bananas in smoothies are a great sugar replacement and so filling.
Anyway, that’s it for now. I’ll come back when I have progress to report.
Oh and this time I want to get to 140 lbs. I’m 5’4.5” So this seems reasonable.
