Tips for beginners. 3 years ago

First time smokers need to know that they SHOULD NOT smoke quickly… the quicker you smoke, the harder you’ll stone. First time, I say two or three tokes with a good two to three minutes in between to give your system a chance to get used to the THC. I suggest a pipe for beginner smokers, definitely not a bong because it’s way too intense for a first timer. Joints just are wasteful.

Also, do NOT EVER inhale with your head down. The smoke will go straight into your stomache, and you’ll feel sick. Tilt the head back about 20 to 25 degrees, and lean your neck back as well. Very little smoke is wasted this way.

I once read about this, so I decided to try it. I went on a 6 month smoke weed every day and every night blow out weed fest. (to break down the constants- Out of a pipe, just regular cannibis not hydroponic or anything, about 20cents worth each session) Let me add- at the end of the six months, I stopped for 30 days- with no anxiety attacks, no withdrawal symptoms, or anything negative at all. I did miss the high, but who doesn’t after that first hit. I must say though- as a musician, artist, writer, whatever- a prolonged smoking journey will open your mind to the most wonderful and creative subject matter you’ll ever create. After the full six months though, I did feel generally apathetic toward life in general. But my GPA stayed at a 3.4 average (I’m in college) and I still bathed and brushed teeth daily, or close to it. My chest would burn if I tried to run a mile, but drinking a lot of water/cranberry juice with lemon juice countered that. At about the four-month mark, my stomache completely healed (I would have extreme stomache aches and pains). I also had trouble sleeping. Again, it seems to have fixed that. I could get in my bed for almost anytime and be sound asleep with 5-10 minutes (That is primarily what sold me on the drug, the fact that it can relax you OR put you to sleep depending on what you’re doing). The only SOLID negative I have with smoking weed frequently and on a daily basis is if you increase what you normally smoke (I took some huge bong hits one night before bed) you will definately get dizzy and puke. I gaurantee. Once your body is accustomed to that general amount, if you increase it, your body won’t know what to do. You’ll feel out of breath, your chest will feel like it’s closing in, and YOU WILL GET PARANOID AS A SCHIZOPHRENIC PERSON. The paranoia is very, very frightening the first few times. Trust me, I should know. Other than that, I personally found nothing negative to say about the herb. I mean, I would never drive after I smoked, but at about the 2 or 3 week mark, I could interact with teachers, parents, peers, and totally pay attention to everything around me- while feeling like I’m skydiving. In my opinion, marijuana is hands down the best thing that God created on this green earth. That said, I do not endorse the use of any illegal drug.
