get a job

Ugh.
The job I really wanted fell through! :(

Turns out it’s way too far away (55 mins according to mapquest, probably longer with traffic).

Back to searching…...

I have an interview on Monday for a job I realllly want!

I applied as a front desk clerk, and they asked me to set up an interview.
I really hope this one works out, as they’re flexible with school schedules :)

Well I’m pretty sure I got the hostess job at the diner, but I found out that it’ll only be on weekends, so the search continues.
Hafta find something to do during the week!:)

So I got a phone call today from a diner asking me to come in to speak with them, but they were closing in 45 minutes so I had to hurry.
I went in and they said they’d have me work as their hostess tomorrow and see how things go.

I really hope this works out because it’s close enough to home that I can walk there if I want/have to. Also, they’re only open for breakfast and lunch so the shifts are a bit more manageable.

The people seemed nice and I’m pretty confident I can handle it, so hopefully I can check this goal off tomorrow!

Well.. here we go again.
I quit my job at Macys because the management is ca-raaaazy.
So I’m back on the job market!

Thinking about working at a summer camp, that way I won’t have any commitments when school starts and I move.

Well, I did it again!

Got a job at Macy’s, this time in the dress department.
I went for my interview and they hired me on the spot :D
Orientation is on Thursday, and then I’m full time after that.
Hurray!

Well, I have an interview this Monday at Macy’s again…
Hopefully I get the job, ‘cause to be honest I’m getting really sick of filling out applications =P
