Privileged & Entitled Kids Need Attitude Adjustment

If I can get through to at least one of the kids I teach during my career I will be happy. Generally, the kids that I teach come from money. It seems like they are pretty self-absorbed (not all of them -I have several really caring, kind students too.) I would like to get through to them and drive home the fact that they, with their family’s wealth and influence are in a unique position to do a lot of good. Actually, now that I think of it I would like to let all of the students know (even the ones that aren’t wealthy) that one person can make a difference in this world! Of course hopefully one of the kids will go on to actually use this info and make the world a better place (even if its in a small way)!
