Complete an engine & internal refit on the boat - Phase 1

• got a new bilge pump installed
• 3 windows refitted, no leaks now
• kicking strap bracket repaired
• New heater fully installed, wired, working
• new ingine installed
• major fuss about the right prop for the new engine & gearbox, finally got it right t the third attempt
• rewired the electrics from the new alternator
• Se trialled the while thing & sailed round to Conwy for the winter.
That all feels a lot better to have got dine. Some major issues resolved, and the boat is now an hour nearer home, secure & with easy access.

There are too many conflicting priorities with work, the house and music that I’m playing to get this done before Easter. And now I’ve decided to replace the engine it’s turning more into a summer project!
I havn’t got a timeline for it right now, it still needs properly planning and prioritising, but it’s phase 1 because I want to get it recommissoned in time for SOME sailing this summer before sailing it up the Mersey to a yard nearer home for more work next winter.
