It appears that everything goes downhill as soon as you graduate from college (or graduate school). Seeing as how I am still in school and graduation won’t be for any number of years; I am terrified. For as long as I can remember the only thing that mattered was going to school and getting a “good” job. It seemed simple enough. College = Guarantee of good job. But now it seems that a 4 year degree is just a glorified diploma.
And I’m thinking what is the point of even pursuing a degree (and a career) that I am interested in if my degree is practically nothing?
It seems like I have two choices: Do what I love and be broke, or do something I have absolutely no interest in but make a good living.
