implement a new password retention policy

I would love to report a similar goal, but as of the writing of this entry there are 2896 goals with the word password or are tagged password . Check it out here . Most of these goals are about finding a password, hacking, etc…

So, as far as I can read, most people are not creating or working on a password creation, retention and management policy. I think it’s weird because people change their locks when they move into a new place, but don’t regularly change their digital keys.

At both work and in my personal life I have a woefully outdated password retention policy. I need to upgrade and change what my policy is.

I have nearly 300 passwords that I use between work and my personal life. Managing so many passwords is difficult.

A password retention policy is the means for creating, retaining, managing, and using digital keys, signatures and passwords.
