I am getting there. I now pay off my credit card on-line, which is faster. I am still rather tight, so I find that I pay off a good chunk every month, but I also incur a little debit.
Two steps forward, half a step back- so goes the dance.

I am working out a super long term budget. This usually doesn’t go well. I am trying to work out how I can pay for what my student loans don’t cover and still exist. Regardless it looks like I am going to have to work full time while I am in school.
I need to pay off my credit card debits.
I need to get loans for school (not counted as debts, as above).
I need to check my credit regularly.
I need a plan to keep track of what I spend.
I need to plan a budget.
I need a list of items, services, and investments that I want to spend money one. I need to prioritize and update the list regularly.
If I do all of these thing, I will consider this goal as finished.
To be completed by years end!
This is part of a life long aspiration to be fiscally responsible. So far, so good, but I have high expectations of myself.
I need to figure out what my debts and regular expenditures are.
I need to learn the tools that I have to keep track of my finances.
1.) Figure out credit card debt.
2.) List all regular expenses (rent, transportation, phone, DSL, etc…
3.) Budget myself.
4.) Keep track of my budget.
5.) Set goals for savings and spending.
6.) Keep receipts in a box or jar, to keep them handy, but not in the way.
7.) Simplify my life.
8.) Remove all unnecessary expenses. (Fast food, ATM charges, etc…)
