I just don’t remember to do this. I am not sure why I don’t see this as an important enough goal to focus on. What are we talking about here- 5 minutes a day. I should add this to my morning routine, or as something to before bed, or perhaps as part of my work routine.
I am as flexible as a sheet of dry wall. I need to get back to being reasonably fixable. While I can stick both feet behind my head, I can’t touch my toes.

I am creating a new area for me to type at. Part of my evening ritual is to stretch for a few minutes.
To remind myself, I am posting a note by my bed, and I am adding an iCal reminder.

I haven’t set a time to do this each day.
I will stretch each day when I get home.
Tomorrow I start yoga, I hope. That will cause me to practice the poses once a day.
I need to figure out what stretches I can do while sited on the ground listing to a book or using my laptop.

The primary reason I want to do this is to improve my quality of living, so I can move in the way I want to, and to reduce the risk of injury when I have accidents.
Phase zero: Figure out just how inflexible I am.
Phase one: Develop a simple stretching routine for mornings and nights.
Phase two: Create a list of times when I can stretch.
The Yoga and Tai Chi goals will help cover this one.
