I have moved and I can now focus on my life.
Lets see what I can get done and what I have gotten done.

I find that I actually get more done when I use 43things. That is, I should use 43things. Over the next week I will again be on track to doing and using 43things regularly.
MS Word replaces straight quotes (“) with smart or angled quotes. Smart quotes are fundamentally different characters and 43things’ system does note recognize them if you are formatting a link like this name.
Screen readers do not note the difference in the characters.
Trust me, this was a pisser.

I haven’t meta tagged very well.
I will by weeks end have figured out what categories each of the goals fits in. I will then thin out the extraneous ones.
I do not have cable, phone, or data lines connected to my apartment. I don’t have a TV (10+ years now), and I don’t pay for the services. I am getting more done, but the only way I can update my 43things is by having coffee.
This isn’t a problem, it is a bit inconvenient. On the other hand, the walk to the coffee house is worth it. It’s about 2.5 miles to the nearest one, and the round trip walk is good exercise.
In any case; 43things is worth the effort as I get more done.
I realy can’t do this well from this device. My computer died today. I am restoring it from a backup. It should take about 7 hours to compleat. I use my computer for work. As a media editor, I tend to push my equipment to its limits. Luckely my laptops secondary drive is uncorupted.
There is a battle in the city I live in. There is a local monopoly on phone service and a local monopoly on cable service. The two are not playing well with each other and from time to time a line gets “accidentally cutâ€. (At least that was what the last set of technicians told me.)
So there will be no updates until I get service back.
That works out to a little more than one entry a day.
I am going to keep this goal for 2008.
For now, I am going to thin down my goal list and figure out what are important goals that can be worked on during this next year.
Giving up on goals is difficult, but necessary.
