start my own church

This is becoming a reality at break neck speed. At the beginning of this year, God made this goal really important to me. I began to pray like crazy and The Lord came through and made it abundantly clear. He answer my questions and assuaged my fears through people, podcasts, and prophetic words. Perry Noble’s quote was one of the deciding factors. “If you could do anything and knew that you couldn’t fail, what would it be?” My answer: start a church. Response: “Then you would be a coward not to.” True that. When I went to England for Fusion, I was surrounded by church planters and interestingly enough they all started their churches at MY AGE! As I made my way across England 5 different prophesies were spoken over me and my leadership and they all had interlinking attributes. None of these people knew each other, it was the Holy Spirit. Coming back my resolve was as strong as steel and it has not weakened. A lot more has happened since, but I will post that in my next entry.

I see a day in the future when I will start a new church. One that is free from all of the patterns that our churches follow today. A church that no longer functions like a stale record that gets replayed for the 10,000th time. I want to start a church where people really care for each other, where love is our creed, and where the apathetic Christian never feels comfortable. I don’t want to be a sunday morning preacher who puts on his tie to deliver his carefully educated sermon. I want to live ministry with my church. We will not go to church, we ARE the church. To live like that and see the benefits would be amazing. I have lots of friends that I know share my passion and heart, and a lot more that soon will. Can’t wait to see you there!
