dye my hair

SO after cancelling a couple times I FINALLY dyed my hair!! I streaked it blonde, well I didnt, my hair dressor did.
And I totally love it!

Okay so I made the appointment for March 17th, but I punked out. So I made another for May 5th. I am going to get highlights. Hopefully they will be of varying thicknesses and varying colours, all centering around a honey blondish colour. Pictures will happen hopefully!

Thats the day I have an appointment to put some dye into this hair… I have opted to not go all out and dye my whole head because 1) I love my natural colour, it suits me and 2) If I did dye my hair I wouldnt be able to dye it back to my natural colour cause God made my hair, you cant find me in a box… so Id have to wait until it all grew out or shave my head.
So instead Im going to put some highlights in, Im hoping for them to be a colour half way in between my natural colour and blond… so maybe a reddish blondy colour… we will see!

I spoke with my new (FABULOUS) Stylest and we talked about putting in highlights when my hair grows out to an acceptable length.
She commented, and I agree, I think it looks great when you have curly hair and the curls have two different but complementary colours winding their way up the curl.

This is still at least 3 months away, so maybe by this summer I will get to move this goal!

My friend Amber is a Graphic Desinger so we are going to photoshop my face with different hair colours to see what might look best… I might end up getting streaks instead of an all out dye, cause in reality I really do love my natural hair colour…

I have wanted to dye my hair for a little while now. Either blonde or a dark brown.
The thing is I’ve really only ever streaked my hair twice, once in High school and once in University. My mom was PRETTY mad both times.
I really do like my natural hair colour… so that makes me hesitant… maybe I will get streaks again…
