Make art quilts

The sewing and quilting lessons I had planned 2 years ago never manifested, but I did teach myself to sew and quilt over the past three months. I have never been more addicted to anything in my life.

I’ve been very pleased with the things I’ve made, and I seem to gravitate toward quilting more than all my other hobbies. There is dust on the piano and I barely touch my knitting.

I’ve semi-mastered many things. Sewing is not one of them. At the end of the month I begin a sewing class and a quilting class. Now that we’re in a brand new and larger apartment, I can set up a proper music/craft studio. Can’t wait to get started.
