Every once in a while, I go through bouts of atheism and paganism. Right now, I am leaning towards paganism and (hopefully) will stick with it this time.
I figure that one of the reasons I have not stuck with it in the past is that I wasn’t ready for it. The interesting thing about it, though, is that as I am restarting my studies into Wicca and reading To Ride A Silver Broomstick, I am realizing that a lot of the reading for pleasure I do has concerned things I am reading in the book. Kind of like a subliminal lesson plan of sorts. :-)
Also, I am blogging about it at http://denyat.hostingrapid.com/pagan/ if you want to “chart my progress”. :-)
(Right now, I am studying as a solitary, although I am going to the local UU Church’s pagan meetings this Friday (a discussion group with a local recycler) and for January 26 (for a Candlemas ceremony). I figure that way I won’t have to deal with so many conflicting opinions about what Wicca is supposed to be.)
