I think it is left over from when we are young and we go ‘oooh noooo, not the boring old news!’ but you know what, that news would be very interesting if you experienced it first hand! Yep, a lot of life comes down to knowing current affairs. It gives you something to talk about, which makes you a more interesting person so your prospects of new friends and relationships go up, it gives you something to think about, gets you involved. Its very good. I think that if we are not taking an interest then we are lazy…I know I am! but im working on it!
