I’m weeding done my list to 10 active items. Perhaps I will weed it down further. I need to focused. Time is passing me by. I need to prioritize and focus on first things first. I must complete many other things before I can hold any reasonable expectation of achieving this goal.

I just joined the Life Extension Foundation ( http://www.lef.org/ ) which is an important resource both in my determining the structure and supplementation of my diet as well as accessing quality supplements that are of pharmaceutical grade.
To Start:
http://www.nutrisystem.com/
NutriSystem seems to be the easiest way to get balanced meals while I am on the road. I can buy a supply that lasts and know that they are correct in content.
I also want to incorporate nutritional supplementations that are discussed at http://www.lef.org/
I am also interested in reading and incorporating the data found in the book at http://www.well-informed-sources.com/
Long term:
After I reach my first target of approximately 200lbs I’d like to attain Caloric Reduction and Optimal Nutrition. The following sources have excellent data on the CRON science. By using this science one can achieve a longer life and a more robust health.

I am looking for a permanent solution. In analyzing my past diet attempts I find that I did not have realistic expectations. What I need is a lifestyle change and that change must be incremental. Were I to attempt to do the CRON method from the start I would fail. I would not be able to sustain it. I’d cave.
I am planning this change to take place over a three year period. I think that is realistic. I know that exercise must be incorporated into the program. I am looking at Russian weight training using kettle bells as something that will be most useful as well as the training techniques of Matt Fury. But I will have to build up to that.
Economics is another factor that I must seriously consider. I have been undermined in the past due to my funds running low. So I will first have a stable economic platform. I don’t need to be rich but I do need a stable platform. Everything is inter-related. This time I plan my success, not just try to tough it out to succeed. Short term solutions don’t work in the long term.
While loosing the weight is very important to me and will open doors and give me many more options I also realize that other things must take place first if this is going to be a successful life changing endeavor. That is why it is not at the top of my list but down at number 10. While some of the matters that are listed before are projects that will be taking place concurrent with my weight loss plan I placed them ahead of the weight loss because I realize that if they are not being addressed I will be stressed and overeating is a way in which I deal with stress. So I am removing that stress to eliminate the finger that pulls that overeating trigger.
As I develop new habits and unlearn old ones that won’t be a problem. But that unlearning isn’t going to happen today or tomorrow. I realize that and am taking measures to help ensure my success.
My plan is to get the diet in full swing by the middle of 2006 at the latest and to reach my first major goal of 200lbs of weight loss by Christmas of 2009.
A major factor for me is designing the system so that it is something I can follow while on the road. I am planning on being a truck driver for the next three years and that will mean that the exercise program must be something I can take on the road. The kettle bells are small enough to take for the ride. The NutriSystem food is something I can order to cover my two months away from home. My concern is whether I will be able to fit all the food for two months in the cab of the truck. If it is problematic I will have to make a work around and have mailed to me X weeks of food while I am on the road. This can be done by having it sent to a Post Office I know I will be passing and marking the mail for pick-up. This is done all the time by people who walk the Adirondack Trail.
It’s all doable. It just takes proper and realistic planning.
I am obese. Not worried about 5 lbs here. I have to loose something in the order of 200 lbs. This will be life changing if I accomplish it. At present I am ostracized from society in many ways and have been a victim of discrimination for many years and on many levels.
My plan is to get a job that pays enough that I can sustain doing the Nutri-System plan. It seems like the best combo of easiest/effective that I have found. I’ll do that as a base with which to launch my diet and I will determine and incorporate the supplements that are best for me.
This will take several years but I would like to loose the excess baggage by 2009.
