Take one picture a day as a way to document my life

Mission: to obtain an autograph from Robert Picardo, Voyager’s holographic doctor. One for me, one for Mandi.
I had to embrace my inner nerd and seek him out through all the nerds at the Calgary Comic-con. The photo ops were endless… mostly storm troopers and jedi kids… but nothing compares to the joy this picture gives me.
Mission accomplished… And I ended up with 4 TNG action figures… the same ones I had when I was a kid!

Had a surprise visit from my Dad. We had a fantastic meal at the Keg, but I forgot to capture a picture. So here’s something that happens everyday… Benjamin drinking Colbert’s water.. Don’t worry, they’re friends.

Sitting at home, eating left over Chinese, watching food network, I decide to trash the leftovers and run to Safeway.
I later invited Katie over for some homemade artichoke spinach dip, stuffed chicken and orzo and chocolate strawberries for dessert. Another culinary feat by top chef Devon Sharpe.

Worked late and ordered Chinese… I had hoped, for this photo, the delivery driver would reflect the Asian meal… but alas, no… And, although she looks sweet on the outside, she forgot our pops and plum sauce.

I did it!! By saving my 100’s and 50’s I’ve saved $1000!!!! Using the power of the mind, I managed to make $150 tonight … reaching my goal of 1000 :) :)
I’m not sure I’ve really had this much money. Mind you rent is due soon… but I see this as a start of a beautiful relationship with me and my finances. Let’s watch it grow from here.

Had some wine late in the evening… A nice soft way to end a rough day at work. This just happened to be the coolest picture of the night, Curtis torching the interior of his mouth.

Well, it’s about as blah as Mondays go. (see last monday)
Mondays are nuked leftovers. Sigh.

We lost …. 3-2 in 2nd OT….
The Flames are out of the play offs :( .... Flames party time is over… tragic… No Red Mile this year.

But it was a great night anyway. Katie came down and we had a grand BP’s night. The bandwagon’s wheel broke, but the band shall play on!

Chilled with my pal BenJ. on the couch and watched the Gwyneth Paltrow double feature of Veiw from the Top and Shakespeare in Love.

Had a groovy day! Watched Steward Little 2 at the mall in the kiddy play area… Had an extreme Breakfast at Phil’s Pancake house… had a nap… went to see 300 at the IMAX (with a kick ass laser show) and then went to a glorious dinner at Open Sesame.
