I studied Shakespeare at length in college, but am nowhere near as familiar as I’d like to be. I wonder, and if anyone has any ideas, please chime in, if there is a best way to go about this? A chronological approach seems to make sense, but maybe I should start with those I’ve never read before? And what about the history plays – chronological by authorship or by setting? Any thoughts? Within the parameters of this goal I also want to re-read the plays I’ve read before, most of which I read long ago and not very well; so I’ll consider this goal accomplished when I have read every one of the (26? 29? I forget right now, but I’ll check) plays from this date forward. Where to begin?
