Epoxy top coat is now on the tack room floor.
The door stops are now the barn doors.
The missing feeder is now back up.
The rusty bits have been removed and the bare metal painted over on all the stall walls.
Next Up: a plan for the rest

Time Estimate: Six Months
Budget: $2500
Deadline: July 1, 2010
Reward: Mounted, engraved brass stall plate with name, brand, sire, dam, and birthdate for each of my horses.
We’ve hired a couple of handymen, and suddenly this goal seems doable. This week they pressure washed the stalls and the tack room floor. Then they used a grinder to remove the rust from the steel wall base. I just went out and used up all of my rustoleum paint (one pint) on the same. Time for a home depot trip!
Update: Target acquired.
I need something more specific to sink my teeth into. This task feels so overwhelming that I’m too daunted to even start. It’s either industrial sized amounts of caffine, or reworking this baby. For the sake of my health and sanity, I’m leaning towards the latter.
