I’ve tried Braised Chicken (good) Meatballs in tomato sauce (V Good), and chicken and mushroom patties in bacon (not so good – bit tasteless!)
SO I have friends coming for dinner on Saturday night. I THINK I’m going to make stuffed mushrooms to start, followed by fillet steak and prawns with garlic mash and green beans, and fruit salad and cream for afters. Doesn’t sound too hard except I have no idea how to get everthing ready at the same time!! LOL

I’ve been experimenting a bit more recently. I made a chicken and veggie soup from a recipe the other night ( I know not very adventeruous but yummie) and I made a 3 course meal (Bruschetta, fillet steak with pumpkin and sweet potato mash and green beans ala restaurant style, and vanilla slice) for Hubbies birthday. Wnat to try a new recipe a week so joined Mealopedia last week to get some ideas
Made oysters kilpatrick on Xmas Day – I think this is the one and only thing I’ve ever made by following a recipe – and it was all of 3 lines long! But never mind, step in the right direction!!
