expand my social circle

Met a cool girl in my class that I really like, can’t believe we’ve only started talking so far into the course. And getting a bit more chatty with that boy as well. I wanna be friends with these people, they seem like my kinda people!

And ‘swapped friends’ with a mate of mine, in that he really got on with my friends, and I hit it off with his friends so I spent ages talking to them. Then ran into one of them today and had lunch. Cool people. I hope I see them again.

Talked to a boy I kind of know through friends. He got my number, said he would invite me to a night out later in the week.

Talked to a boy I haven’t seen in years, caught up with him a little bit.

Talked to a boy while standing outside smoking. Found out we’re in the same university, we talked about uni and other related subjects.

Talked to a boy I’ve never met before, but whose name I knew. Had a pretty decent conversation, turns out he’s really cool. At least now he knows my name too!

And it’s going to have a lot of boring people there, I know this crowd, they’re not great, but it’s the best option of a bad lot. Promised I’d spend new year’s with a friend of mine, and this is the only event we’re both welcome at.

Anyhoo, I’d be surprised if I knew every single person there.

Goal: talk to someone I don’t know [and not just “can I borrow that bottle opener?”]

Other possible goal: try to find some cool people. [there’ll be plenty of ‘cool’ people there, but you know what i mean]
