keep track of my finances

I’m marking this done because I really believe that since I’ve listed this goal, I’ve found success in it. Of course I had some on and off moments, but for the most part, I’ve done a great job at marking down when I take and put in my checking account. And I haven’t gone in the negative zone since. I’m proud of myself and pray that I can keep this up!!

So I’m finding this really easy to do.

LOL, seriously…I have this little checkbook “write down your transactions” thingy and the last time I wrote something down was 6/15….4 days ago.

The only bill that I have trouble paying on time and is almost ALWAYS close to being cancelled is my car insurance…. I always seem to forget about it! Perhaps it’s because I just started paying this bill. For awhile, my parents paid my car insurance….. However, cable, water, rent, internet, cell phone and credit card bills all get paid before I get any late fees. Kudos to me!!

Yesss, I’ve taken out money and goin’ to get money orders for my rent, DSL/phone bill and light bill. And car insurance has BEEN paid. Yay for me!
