live each day as if it were my last, but learn each day as if I'll live forever

there’s nothing as tragic as time wasted, opportunities allowed to slip away, words left unspoken..all the loose ends of our lives. And all these happen because we seem to believe that we are immortals and we can live forever! But if we live each day as if it is our last then we might just stop taking things and people forgranted..and when we live life to the fullest, allow ourselves to plunge head on to whatever the universe has to offer..explore, discover, share, love…then we begin to understand the lessons of life hidden from those who are too afraid to dare and too lazy to live…and funny enough these lessons we acquire become like immortal seeds we can pass on to those whose lives we happen to touch as we go about our business of living and not just existing. With all the fulfillment and opportunities available for those who live their lives as if it is their last they can easily say, on the other hand..today is the first day of the rest of their lives! And if you really think about it, they both mean the same thing :)
