A blood test to check for allergies as well as my iron levels has been scheduled for next Tuesday. I’m eager to get the testing done and find out the results, but at the same time, it is quite distressing. I’m nervous around needles and afraid of pain, so needles that inflict pain are especially daunting.
I will be heading to the clinic on my own (a first) so a good dose of courage will be needed to work on my confidence and independence as well. It’s a bundle of nerves, tension, enthusiasm and exhilaration weaved into one tight knot.
