do my best for the examinations in May 2012

The examination results slip reached my mailbox today. The grades I received for the two modules last term are:

AMP module – A
PI module – B

I’m happy about the A, but am less than happy about the B grade. I feel that I’ve been marked unjustly, as the lecturer for that module and I didn’t exactly click, but there’s not much I can do about it. Maybe it’s the perfectionistic side of me ingraining these thoughts. I ought to think positively, not beat myself up, and be happy with the not-too-bad results.

Concentration and motivation levels soared and I was much more well prepared for the second examination paper. I feel fairly confident for both papers but fingers are still crossed until the results are released in a few weeks time.

Just one more term to go and I’ll be graduating. But for now, I shall lavish in the short holiday break.

Procrastination bit hard this time round and it resorted to squeezing in a last minute study binge just hours before the examination today. The paper wasn’t too bad, but I was cutting it close.

The next (and final) paper for the term is on Friday and preparations are under way. It’s (high) time to bite the procrastination bullet and gear it up a notch.
