some hope I could do this in 2009. Last night Hubby informed me he volunteered for a project at work that will entail some travel to Alexandria, VA. If I ever have the chance to tag along, I will. Especially if it’s in cherry blossom time!

I haven't 21 months ago

been to DC since I was 9, but I clearly remember feeling ripped off because all the postcards showed the city at cherry blossom time, whereas we were there in the heat of summer.

And really, 9 is way too young to appreciate all that DC is. This is another one of those “I want to do it once before I die” goals that most likely will never happen, but when I came across the goal, I just had to add it.
