are the Robots ever vicious today – every time I try to access somebody’s comment on one of my posts, it takes me to the Lose Weight goal. I mean, I know I need to do that, but come on!

to Todd Schoonover and Texas Lin – about a week & a half ago I got this GREAT post card from them from Montana, and have not got around to acknowledging it yet. THANK YOU so much for thinking of me, guys; wish I could have been there, too.
to our beloved Sadie today. She is Boss Man’s dog, and he brings her to the office from time to time on “catch up” Fridays, like today. But this will most likely be the last time – she has had formidable health problems in recent years, especially this past year. She can barely walk any more, didn’t eat yesterday, and is on heavy-duty pain meds (I thought he said morphine). But she’s really perked up today being here with us; she’s such a sociable creature. We’ve been filling her full of treats and huge amounts of love and hugs, which she’s obviously very happy to receive. I am so glad to have had the chance to say goodbye, even though it’s been such an emotionally awful thing to do.
soaking in the great architecture in various cities I visit, and my trip to Milwaukee this weekend was no exception. I stayed at the Ambassador, which has a great Art Deco lobby. And here is a clock tower right next to the Marquette University law school.
great surprise was lurking in my mailbox when I got home last night – this post card from Todd and Heavee in Denver! Thanks so much, you guys – it’s been a trying few weeks, and this made my day. :)
Why is it that I had 15 cheers at my disposal when I had to pack it in for bed last night, but only had 2 left this morning? Are there 43 gremlins gobbling up unused cheers?
Can any of you tell me exactly what will happen if you click on the Facebook Connect here on 43T?
I have no idea what my tired, bumbling self did – but all of a sudden my goals are re-numbered. My forever #1 goal of going somewhere that requires a passport has suddenly dropped like an anchor. Huh? sheesh. I’d better just go to bed before I interrupt the time-space continuum, or something …
helium-filled mylar balloon has been on the ceiling of our living room since Nov. 23 – our little Aidan’s birthday! We are taking bets as to when it will finally come all the way down …
