Dear All,
I’ve been told that it is EXTREMELY difficult for someone with even a mild disability to gain employment. I’ve been advised by a few people to not even try.
I am not going to listen to them. There is absolutely NO reason as to why I shouldn’t be able to do a desk job. I’d be happy as a clam just doing paperwork and answering phones. I’d also like to be able to use the training I recieved for Medical Transcription.
Although, I DO wonder HOW to approach a potential employer with a ‘special need’ situation. Any ideas on that? Anybody?
Peace All,

Dear All,
I have been sick for a LONG time. I have been out of the job market for a number of years now—-not that I was ever REALLY quite IN it. Being a full time mother to four kids was job enough. There was the odd job at WalMart though.
I would really like to go back to work. I am just really nervous at the prospect. When you get SO sick like that, you feel like you’ve basically fallen off of the planet for a while. The world changes very quickly when you can’t keep up with it.
I am going to be filling out job applications for the first time in SIX years. I don’t even know what to wear anymore!
Peace All,
