2 years makes a world of difference.
I still don’t like mornings. But the routine described below just sounds hellish. Sooo glad that’s over.
Now my eldest is potty trained, they both drink sippy cups and they both have some patience in the morning.
I still don’t like mornings, but I do look forward to my cup of coffee while I sit in front of the computer…

Maybe my problem is that I don’t have anything to look forward to in the morning. My mornings are incredibly hectic. I have to get two kids up, diapers changed, dressed, fix a bowl of chex and a sippy cup of milk with a 1/2 teaspoon of her medicine mixed in for Kaitie, who is saying “CHEX! CHEX! CHEX!”, fix a bottle for Ty, who is screaming, go pee, and let 2 dogs outside. After the dogs come inside, I retrieve the bottle from the microwave and sit down with Kaitie who is spilling her chex all over the floor and getting mad at the dogs for eating them, turn on Sesame Street, and feed Tylor.
Seriously, would you be a morning person if you had to wake up to that every day?
