Study/spend time in India - by the time I'm 26

It would be ridiculously expensive to do the Pune programe through my school – but I still want to do it - ideas for study abroad scholarships?

There is a sixth month program in Pune that I could conceivably make happen – July-Dec 2009… biggest issues would be missing fall term at school (hard to fit in my chem and physics – both required for grad school, not my major) and I would be BROKE from not working this next summer. Basically I’d either have to swallow up my meger “for after college – get myself established and pay tuition for gradschool” savings, and/or beg for financial backing from my parents… which they could handle, but would make me WAY financially dependent on them again, as in, for EVERYTHING. Blah

And while I’d love to go to there, India is going to be a whole lot more meaningful to me at this point.
