Building up slowly 21 months ago

Since Easter, I’ve fallen off track, so I’m choosing to exercise starting TWO days of the week and progressively increase until I get into the habit of doing it every single day.

Tomorrow and Wednesday (time permitting, see homework and class schedules and how they work) I’m going to spend 1.5 hours at the gym.

Jogging is my exercise of choice, but I don’t think I can maintain jogging the whole time. However, I’m going to start out jogging 2 laps (on the indoor track, that’s 1/2 a mile) this week, next week 3 laps, and so on.

Also, I’m going to do 40 sit ups everyday from now on.

Yesterday, I decided to go for a jog to burn off some fat and calories.

Time jogged: 90 minutes

Calories burned: 667 cals

I had about 750 cals yesterday in all, so 750 – 667= 83 cals.

Pretty damn good! I think I’m gonna keep this up.



Calorie burning exercises? 21 months ago

The type of exercise I’m looking for is something that will make me sweat. I don’t want to start toning until I reach my goal weight.

Anyone have good recommendations?
