Drat! I was hoping that the government would legislate stopping the use of plastic bags. We were meant to be the model village!
No such luck. I’m on my own for this one.

Okay, I have gathered up my cloth bags. I have four. My favourite being the Che bag from Paris (even if it hasn’t faded to a burnt orange colour yet). They hang by my door, ready to be taken anytime I leave.
The only problem – I never think I’m going to stop to pick things up when I do stop to pick things up.
New plan – put fabric bags in the car.
