Finally, finished my blog

Well, for now at least. I went all pink and put my pic on there in the sidebar.

Any contructive (READ CONSTRUCTIVE LOL) criticism? ;)

All done

Finally. sleepyblogger.com

mostly done

One or two things left, but for the most part done. All have been transferred from blogger, the forums are up, etc.

Whew.

3 down, 1 to go

1 is ugly, but done. It didn’t need to be more than adequate. It’s www.sleepyblogger.com.

2 of them are just needing to be transferred to their proper domain. They are still being hosted on blogger with redirects on their proper domains pointing to them. They are www.gamingandtech.com and www.duzins.com.

1 of them is up, but ‘under construction’ on some pages. It’s my most difficult because I don’t know how to set the database up. It’s www.balanceindiet.com.

Balanceindiet.com is a hassle, but it’s my baby right now. I want the recipe database searchable by category (breakfast, lunch, etc), by ingredient, by prep time, and by submitter. My friend, who is a programmer, has offered help, but it will be a month or two before he can get around to more than a question here or there. I am pretty familiar with other techie things, and I understand how databases work with scripts and sites to deliver information. I just don’t know where to start, or how to set up the thing. I feel reasonably sure I could do the rest. I saw (or my friend pointed me to) a module on dotnetnuke that would work for what I need, but I would have to tweak it to my site and I am TOTALLY clueless as to how to do that.

Maybe that should be one of my 43 things?
