Reduce my book collection

Got rid of 2 boxes this summer. 2 more boxes that could go anytime; just depends if I decide it’s worth the effort to try to sell some titles.
Could possibly get rid of 3 more boxes on top of the pending 2. Might depend on my mood.

there must be compelling reason before I buy a new book.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against writers and their means of livelihood. I simply can’t afford my book-buying habit. I don’t buy much as it is. But it’s a question of space, mental and physical.

to read in my lifetime. I’ve been reducing my collection by bringing them to a bookseller for credit. What’s been instructive is the books not being accepted by this bookstore. I called another one and rattled off some titles. Again, these books are not wanted.
I will have to decide what to do next.
