I see I marked this as complete 6 years ago, but I’m still doing it today. Every month $200 CDN goes out of my account and into my RRSP. It’s still not a lot of money. However, most years that represents at least 14% of my pre-tax income (student life, don’t you know?).

I’m going to claim that I’ve finished this goal because I’m almost at the end of a two-year period of contributing via direct debit every month $200 CDN. While I’m not happy with the amount, I can at least manage it consistently, despite the wide variations in how much I get paid across the different months. I’ll probably start a new goal in the next year to increase the amount by at least $100 CDN/month.
