Be a better atheist.

Although I’m all for atheists and I’m all for atheist support groups I feel like there is no need to insult people who believe in religion. Is it our right to judge? Are we not being hypocritical by saying they’re all judgemental when we are judging them as well?

I know most of us were religious at some point. I know religion has caused a lot of problems. I also know that people used to believe in Greek mythology as people people today believe in whatever they believe in. But it doesn’t mean we have to get nasty.

I sing for my church choir. I do it because I enjoy singing and I do it for all the people that are forced to go to church like me (it’s brutal without music). I think I’m being a good atheist. Some people might not agree, because I sing about praising God, but hey I don’t do it for the Christians. My parents know they think it’s a phase because they went through one too. Every time I talk about it I get yelled at and told to shut up.
