I Graduate on August 1st!  — 1 month ago

Well, I just submitted my dissertation last week and got the email that it was approved, so that means I am completely done and I will officially graduate on August 1st. Horray! I feel very fortunate that I was able to finish in 5 years and secure a faculty position (and solve the two-body problem as well!.

I am ABD  — 1 year ago

I have finished all my coursework and successfully passed my Ph.D. proposal and am now in Ph.D. Candidate land. Just need to finish up my final study, write my dissertation, and defend. Hopefully only 1 more year to go, but it still seems like I have a lot to do!
